Patio Season in Edmond: 4 Must-Visit Spots + Brit’s Picks

By: Britley Little

There’s just something about summer in Edmond! Longer days, golden hour that lasts forever, and perfect patio weather that practically begs you to grab a drink with friends! Whether you’re looking for a full-on patio vibe or a breezy indoor-outdoor hang, these four spots should be at the top of your list this summer!

The Winston
If your ideal patio day includes aesthetic vibes, craft cocktails, and a little bit of everything on the menu, The Winston is your move! This is one of Edmond’s best places to watch a game and perfect for after-work drinks.
Brit’s Picks:
● Watermelon Fresca (basically sunshine in a glass)
● Espresso martini for a late afternoon pick-me-up!
Why I love it: The patio is spacious, kid-friendly, and honestly the kind of place where you accidentally stay three hours!

American Solera
Located in the Icehouse Project (ahem—grab your kids and let them run wild on the fun playground!) American Solera is a patio-lover’s dream! Big covered patio, open courtyard, and tons of space to spread out with a group!
Brit’s Picks:
● One of their signature sours or rotating craft beers
● Solera Spritz
Why I love it: With the shared courtyard and nearby food options, it’s ideal for larger groups, casual meetups, and perfect for all ages.

Frenzy Brewing Company
Okay, not your traditional patio, but hear me out! Frenzy’s massive taproom with garage doors creates that perfect indoor-outdoor feel, especially on a breezy day!
Brit’s Picks:
● A hazy IPA or seasonal release
● Something experimental (they’re known for creative brews)
Why I love it: It’s one of Edmond’s most community-driven hangouts. Games, live music, and plenty of space!

The Mule
Think comfort food and a strong cocktail right in the middle of Downtown Edmond! While known for its sandwiches, don’t sleep on their outdoor seating and drink menu!
Brit’s Picks:
● The Classic Mule (obviously!)
● A local beer + fried okra combo
Why I love it: It’s casual, lively, and consistently a good time. I love people watching and being able to shop at local businesses right after!

Final Thoughts
Patio season doesn’t last forever (sadly), so now’s the time to take advantage. Whether you’re sipping something fruity at The Winston, brewery hopping downtown, or grabbing a laid-back drink at The Mule, Edmond has no shortage of spots to soak up the sunshine!
