Kara De La Peña is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the visionary founder behind NP2GO, a modern healthcare practice redefining accessibility and convenience. Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing and certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Kara is also an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association.

She launched NP2GO in 2019 with a bold mission: to make high-quality, patient-centered care more accessible to the Oklahoma City metro community. What began as a mobile IV hydration service has quickly evolved into a full-service healthcare offering, including mobile and in-clinic urgent care, virtual telemedicine, medical weight loss, and a growing line of aesthetic services.

What famous celebrity would play your character in your life’s movie? Amy Schumer. A little bit messy and always finds a way to make people laugh—even in total chaos. Feels fitting.

Share one interesting fact with the public that they may not know about you? I run a nationwide telemedicine company and a mobile urgent care service, but I’m also building a tech app to help keep kids safer at sleepovers. Total healthcare nerd meets mama bear.

What is your “signature dance move?” Whatever my body does when I think I’m nailing the choreography. It’s usually a hybrid of confidence, chaos, and cardio.

If you had to describe your dancing style in one word, what would it be? Unpredictable. (And occasionally brave.)

What are you most looking forward to about Edmond’s Dancing with the Stars and supporting the Edmond Chamber of Commerce? I’m excited to get out of my comfort zone, dance for a great cause, and support the local business community that keeps Edmond thriving. Also, I hear there’s glitter involved—count me in.
