    Blake has been an Instructor and Dance Professional with Dance Makers for over the past 4 years. He grew up performing in musical theater for 10 years before attending the University of Oklahoma. It was there he fell in love with Ballroom Dancing through the OU Ballroom program. Since then, Blake has competed at numerous Pro/Am competitions around the country and won several Top Teacher Awards, including most recently being named the Top Teacher at the 2021 Oklahoma Challenge.

    Dr. Krista Jones is a retired Dentist that had a successful general Dental practice in Edmond for 39 years and retired in January, 2020, just before COVID 19 hit Oklahoma! She has been an officer in many of her professional organizations, including the following: former President of the Oklahoma Dental Association, President of Ok County Dental Society and the third president of Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists.

    Not one for boasting, James downplays the judging abilities he has honed over the years. Poor drivers thank him for the suggestions he offers. Inappropriately-dressed shoppers express gratitude when reminded how members of polite society should dress while in public. Even his wife Kim, bless her heart, expresses only minimal rage when reminded that only fools put silverware in the dishwasher with the pointy ends up. The People’s Choice award winner at the 2018 DWTS, James is eager to see this year’s slate of performers. James and Kim have one red-headed granddaughter, Heidi, and an assortment of other family members and pets.

    Julie was born and raised in Edmond. She graduated from Edmond North and then attended OSU and graduated with a BS in Health Education. Julie has a true passion for volunteering and doing charity work for different local non-profits. Julie has have served on several different nonprofit boards and served as president of Edmonds Women’s Club. In her free time, she enjoys hot yoga and spin classes, along with spending time at the lake, listening to music, hanging with her cats, but most importantly sipping tequila with her friends. Family, friends, and charity are her everything!
