Acey Hopper

Acey Hopper is a Major with the Edmond Police Department, where he has proudly served for 35 years in a variety of leadership and operational roles. He currently commands the Patrol Division and the department’s SWAT Team, overseeing key functions including personnel management, operational planning, and specialized unit coordination. Throughout his career, Major Hopper has remained committed to professional leadership, community engagement, and organizational excellence.
Major Hopper holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Central Oklahoma and is a graduate of Leadership Edmond, Class 38. He is an active member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He and his wife, Christy, and daughter, Kyla.
