Woman of the Year
Presented by OU Medical Center Edmond
Objective: To encourage growth of women in business by addressing issues they encounter and to provide networking opportunities to participants.
This council plans all of the monthly Women’s Network breakfasts. These breakfasts foster opportunities for networking, as well as learning and growth both personally and professionally. The Council meets on the third Thursday of the month (the week before the breakfast) at 4:00p.m. at the Chamber.
Each of the ladies is a part of one sub committees. The three committees are:
- Programs – putting together the programs and speakers for the 10-programs this year (group doesn’t meet separately, communicate mostly through email).
- Networking – putting together the networking activity for each breakfast as well as being at the breakfast a bit early to meet-and-greet the attendees (group meets at 3:30 before the 4:00 meeting).
- Social – arranging Women’s Network Council four social events for the Council members (group doesn’t meet separately, communicate mostly through email).
