Oklahoma Small Business Development Center (OKSBDC) Announces New Office at Edmond Chamber of Commerce
OKSBDC State Director Bill Carter is pleased to announce a new OKSBDC office located at the Edmond Chamber of Commerce.
Larry Siebert, OKSBDC Associate Business Advisor, is now available for business consulting services to Edmond area entrepreneurs and small businesses as they explore ways to expand their businesses. His office is located within the Chamber of Commerce at 825 East Second in Edmond.
Edmond Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ken Moore said, “We are happy to have the Small Business Development Center back in our office. It fits well with our commitment to help and assist small businesses in Edmond. Having them in our office provides easy access to those who may need the services of the SBDC and the Chamber. Larry brings years of experience, which will be an asset to those needing his services.”
OKSBDC State Director Bill Carter said, “I am delighted the Edmond Chamber President Ken Moore and his staff have elected to form a partnership with OKSBDC to provide entrepreneurial and small business consulting services to Edmond business owners. Larry Siebert is the right OKSBDC business advisor to anchor this partnership and help area businesses uncover growth opportunities.”
Siebert has been with OKSBDC program for eight years preceded by 34 years of experience with Sears, Roebuck and Company. He has experience in retail management, pricing strategy, logistics, operations, loss prevention, and merchandising. He is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) through the National Development Council and has completed the Small Business Administration (SBA) Export Counseling certification. He was recently named Oklahoma’s State Star by OKSBDC and will be recognized at the National SBDC Conference in San Francisco in September.
OKSBDC services are provided as part of a federal, state, and local economic development partnership. OKSBDC results for Oklahoma include successful business start-ups, stronger small businesses, increased business capitalization, and increased private sector job growth. OKSBDC’s goal is a stronger and more sustainable Oklahoma economy.
