Edmond Chamber Seeks Nominations for Edmond Hall of Fame
The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce is taking nominations for the Edmond Hall of Fame. This award recognizes and honors Edmond citizens that have made significant contributions to the community through their dedicated involvement in city government, education, civic organizations and/or career achievements. A nomination form is available on the Chamber’s website www.edmondchamber.com and is due April 27, 2015.
Criteria considered for selection into the Hall of Fame states that the nominee must: 1. Have a substantial connection with Edmond, i.e. born here, substantially educated here and/or live here during time of accomplishment, and 2. Have demonstrated significant achievement in outstanding community service and/or professional career achievement deserving state or national recognition.
The award will be given out at a black-tie optional Hall of Fame banquet held at Oak Tree Country Club on June 19, 2015. There are a total of 68 men and women listed in the Edmond Hall of Fame.
