Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce Supports School Bond Passage
The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors recognizes the importance of public education to Edmond, and therefore unanimously endorsed the passage of the upcoming $91 million school bond election scheduled for February 10, 2015.
"Edmond Public Schools are truly a community asset,” said Ken Moore, President & CEO of the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce. “The $91 million bond issue is a very well thought out strategy that will have an impact on our schools and its students for years to come. Dr. David Goin, the administration and faculty have earned a stellar reputation for educating our young people and getting them ready for the world of work. Because of their thoughtful planning, voters will see little, if any, change in their tax rate." Moore said.
