5/21/13 – Evans & Davis Law Firm
Evans & Davis is proud to officially announce that Balentine Law and the Heritage Law Center have recently completed a merger of their firms. The firms will operate together under the name of Evans & Davis. The firm’s principal location will remain in downtown Edmond, Oklahoma, with additional offices in the Highland Park area of Dallas, Texas.
Balentine Law and the Heritage Law Center were originally founded by Jerry Balentine, who has focused his practice in the areas of estate planning, tax planning, and elder law for almost 40 years.
Evans & Davis was founded in 2002 and is led by attorneys Bryan Evans and Dustin Davis. With its primary focus on estate planning and probate, business formation and succession planning, Evans & Davis has also recently expanded its practice to include a family and domestic law division. In 2012, Evans & Davis merged with Stoddard-Morris Law, an Oklahoma Law Firm focused on domestic law. All family and domestic matters are directed under the supervision of Rachel Stoddard-Morris.
In conjunction with the growth of its legal practice, Evans & Davis has recently expanded its physical space in their downtown Edmond location with an additional 4,000 square feet. As a result, the Firm will host a ribbon cutting ceremony sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce on May 14, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. Following the event, the Firm will host a Business After Hours event.

BancFirst Edmond recently announced plans to move from their current location at 3200 E. Memorial to a new facility located at 1264 S. Bryant, adjacent to Hafer Park. The ground breaking ceremony for the new BancFirst location will take place on December 13th at 3:00pm with the support of the Edmond Chamber of Commerce. The new BancFirst facility is scheduled for a late August opening in 2013.
This location move is part of a larger plan to expand BancFirst’s presence in the Edmond community. The new Bryant office will be 10,000 square feet and will house fifteen employees, including the market president Mark Lisle, customer service officer Michelle Ratcliff and commercial lender Brian Blundell. This office will be the main Edmond location and the first of three new Edmond locations planned for the next three to four years. “We are excited to be able to increase our presence in the Edmond area,” says BancFirst Edmond president Mark Lisle. “With the planned new locations, we will be able to provide additional access for our customer base, while allowing us the opportunity to offer our experience and expertise to new customers.”
