82% OF AMERICAN’S DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT
Local Firm Announces Mobile Website Technology for Oklahoma
EDMOND, OKLAHOMA – Think about it. You don’t carry your laptop while shopping. And that dusty home computer doesn’t ride shotgun on your commute to work. However, most American cell phone users are never more than 2 feet from their phone.
The rapid progress of Smartphones in Oklahoma caught the attention of a local web company. Back40 Design Group has turned that mobile momentum into a must-have mobile website.
CEO Dave Miller believes if Oklahoma businessmen and women ignore the growing mobile marketplace, they will be left behind in only 6 short months. “Some experts are saying mobile sales and usage will surpass computers by 2011,” he said. “So if you say ‘not now’ to mobile, you will directly disregard your customer needs while your competition advances forward.”
As a local entrepreneur in Edmond, Oklahoma who’s been on the leading edge of technology for the last 10 years, Miller and his company, Back40 Design Group have created a method to simplify a website down to the basics, so it’s easily accessible from any Smartphone device. The website detects whether a user is accessing a website from a mobile device or a standard computer, and displays the correct site automatically.
According to Stacy Brasher, Director of Operations, a Mobile Website is different than a typical PC website because it adheres to the philosophy ‘less is more’. “A mobile site should have no horizontal scrolling, and limited vertical scrolling for ease of use on your phone. It should allow for 1-touch access with ‘click to call’ or ‘click to view map’ features as well.”
Mobile surfers spend less than 5 minutes on each site seeking the exact information they want. “If your company website presents the wrong content, in the wrong order, with painfully slow downloads, you lose,” said Miller. “Difficult to find action items like e-mail or phone numbers frustrate ‘on the go’ mobile users, so you need to accommodate the growing need for mobile websites built specifically for them.”

Massages always $40 for Chamber Members at Minska Massage!
What is an Aloe Vera Body Wrap?
This is our most popular spa treatment! This concentration of herb tea solution of aloe vera and herbs is applied with cotton linen cloths strips that have been heated to activate the process. The solution of aloe vera and natural USA herbs combine to penetrate through the protein wall that surrounds the fat cell and dissipate toxins from the fat cells into the body’s lymphatic system. In the lymphatic system, the toxins can be flushed from the body as one drinks water over the following 3 days. This movement causes a reduction in the size of the fat cell. The loss is quite measurable.
Added benefits:
can help clear acne, reduce nasal allergies, can help speed healing of bruises, can be helpful in relaxation of clients who suffer from chronic fatique syndrome & helps relax muscle tension associated with fibromyalgia
