Each week, EYP recognizes new members in the organization. This group is constantly growing and changing and we love bringing in new members and fresh ideas! This week, we are excited to welcome Scott Chance and Grace Wills.

Scott Chance

Campaign Manager for Matt Pinnell

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Graduate of both Oklahoma State and University of Central Oklahoma. Have managed and work on political campaigns ranging from state representative, statewide, congressional, and presidential. Big Oklahoma State Football fan!

What do you like most about Oklahoma?
The single biggest thing I love about Oklahoma is the people. I’ve been in several parts of the country, and there’s no better community of genuine and nice people out there.

What is your typical work day like?
Running political campaigns is slightly organized chaos. It’s a different city and different part of the state almost every day, walking through horse stalls one hour and through a high rise office building the next.

What is one thing you can’t live without?
The one thing I can’t live without is my family. I was adopted at birth and can’t thank my parents enough for giving me the opportunities I’ve had so far in life.

Grace Wills

Ratliff CPA

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

As an Oklahoma Christian University alum, I have lived in Oklahoma for 11 years now and have been a CPA for 4 of those years.  I LOVE helping my clients find the best accounting solution to fit their needs!  I'm also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor with Intuit, so my main gig is helping small business owners and entrepreneurs be proactive with the accounting side of their businesses so they can have peace of mind when tax time comes.

What do you like most about Oklahoma?

The main reason my husband and I decided to stay in Oklahoma aside from the economy (neither of us are from here originally) was for our church family, New Hope Church of Christ.  They have been a wonderful place to grow together in our faith and have provided wonderful opportunities to serve others.

What is your typical work day like?

My full time job is actually being a stay-at-home mom to my adorable 2 year old daughter.  As I'm her primary source of supervision and fun during the day, my CPA practice gets my attention during nap time and after bed time.  I do have family living in the area, however, which has been a wonderful childcare resource when I need to meet clients or go to networking events!

What is one thing you can’t live without?

Aside from food, water, air, and a few other necessities...I could probably live without a lot.  However, since the recent ridiculously cold weather has set in, I've realized I've developed a strong attachment to central heating.
