Each week, EYP recognizes new members in the organization. This group is constantly growing and changing and we love bringing in new members and fresh ideas! This week, we are excited to welcome Landon Long, Kendra Sikes and Xavier Vo.

Landon Long

Evans & Davis

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Landon Long and I’m an associate attorney at Evans & Davis Attorneys.  Though I grew up in the Texas panhandle, Edmond is now my home with my beautiful wife Kassi.  We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and look forward to growing with the Edmond community.
What do you like most about Oklahoma?
I love the people.  I travel a bit for work, and after spending time in other states, there is nothing quite like getting back to Oklahoma, where everyone is so kind to each other, and treat others well.  The distinct accent and the use of the word “y’all” are subtle reminders that I am home.
What is your typical work day like?
My typical work day is spent in client meetings helping clients with their estate planning matters and corporate transactions.  It’s busy, but I thoroughly enjoy being there for the good (and bad) for our clients.
What is one thing you can't live without?
Perhaps somewhat stereotypical, but what is there to life if there isn’t coffee?

Kendra Sikes

Homestead & Co.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Kendra Sikes. I am from a really small town but moved to Edmond for college and never left. My husband and I opened our own real estate company in January, Homestead & Co. We have two little girls, Stella and June. In my free time, I enjoy family time, our church, looking at real estate, and vacations.
What do I love most about Oklahoma?
The people and of course, Thunder basketball.
What is your typical work day like?
Everyday is different for me. I have my hands in a lot of things. I'm in charge of operations, I do some recruiting, and transaction management.
What is one thing you can't live without?
I couldn't live without coffee, twice a day.

Xavier Vo

UCO Student

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a student at the University of Central Oklahoma. Originally from Woodward, Oklahoma. I enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing and soccer.
What do you like most about Oklahoma?
My favorite thing about Oklahoma would be the people, does not matter where you are in this state you will find the friendliest people.
What is your typical work day like?
My work day involves studying for my classes. I am not currently employed.
What is one thing you can't live without?
The one thing I could not live without would have to be coffee. I enjoy straight black coffee every morning to get my day going.
