Each week, EYP recognizes new members in the organization. This group is constantly growing and changing and we love bringing in new members and fresh ideas! This week, we are excited to welcome Aparna Fonseka and Kerry Kraybill.

Aparna Fonseka

Bank2

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Aparna Fonseka and I am currently working at Bank2 as a Credit Analyst. I was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Oklahoma when I was 15 years old. I received my Bachelors in International Business and Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma and I received my Masters in Finance from Oklahoma Christian University in 2015. I have a 15-month-old baby boy and my family is always my first priority.

What do you like most about Oklahoma?
When I moved to Oklahoma the first thing I noticed was how friendly people were. I love how Oklahoma is a faith oriented state and how it welcomed me with open arms. I have lived in Edmond for most of my years in the US and being active in our community is one of my passions.

What is your typical work day like?
During a typical work day, one of my biggest tasks is checking in new commercial loans and assisting in their credit analysis. Also, I work on renewals and make sure we have the sufficient financial documents/collateral information from each customer. Additionally I take over the customers annual reviews and make sure the bank is well protected from any financial risks. Once all these tasks are completed, I make sure I have completed all necessary communication for the day via email and in person, and create a list of priorities for the next day.

What is one thing you can’t live without?
My family. Family means everything to me.

Kerry Kraybill

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I recently moved to the area from Chicago with my husband Mike and 2 rescue dogs, Logan and Landon. I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, culinary arts and appreciate a nice glass of wine!

What do you like most about Oklahoma?
So far it has been the milder climate and abundance of sunshine (in comparison to Chicago). The people here are so friendly and really exhibit true southern hospitality.

What is your typical work day like?
I am currently unemployed since we have relocated, but formerly worked at Portillo’s (a Chicago-based restaurant chain) as Human Resources Manager. Seeking future employment is a full-time job in and of itself, but exciting at the same time!

What is one thing you can’t live without?
First and foremost, my husband and dogs; but for purposes of functioning and sanity-Coffee!
