Can you tell us a little bit about your industry and what your favorite aspect of work is? Chiropractic is a natural method of healing that stimulates the central nervous system to work more effectively to initiate, control and coordinate the various functions of the cells, organs, and systems of the body. As Chiropractors, we analyze your body for spinal misalignments, and then correct or remove any spinal nerve stress using various adjustment techniques.
My favorite part of my job is being able to participate in the journey of transitioning an injured or ill practice member into wellness. We are there every step of the way, and driven to see results! We, at Teera Chiropractic, are honored to help maintain healthy spines of all ages.
Why did you join EYP? What have you enjoyed the most about EYP? I have enjoyed getting to meet like-minded professionals from different industries to create relationships, come together for good fellowship, and grow each other’s businesses. I am amazed by how EYP continues to grow every week. It is also inspiring to see more millennials taking action and passionately striving to make differences in the community. I’m definitely excited to be a part of group that will take Edmond to the next level.
Spouse & number years married: Bhumil and I have been married a little over a year and a half. We are college sweethearts, and will have known each other for a decade this year!
What was the first job you ever had? I grew up in the hospitality industry. It was a family business, so I got firsthand experience at a young age on customer interactions and how to manage and operate a business. My first paying job wasn’t until college at the CVS on 15th and Bryant in Edmond as a Pharmacy Technician.
Favorite hobby/pastime outside of work: My favorite pastimes are spending time with my family, exploring cozy coffee shops and sipping on some good JOE, chatting and meeting new people, walking on trails, gardening, kayaking, picnics by the lake, and cooking with my husband on the weekends.
Most recent or upcoming vacation spot? Our big trip of the year is Kenya and Tanzania. Where my husband and I will be camping out in the Serengeti Wild and beach bumming in the blue waters of Zanzibar.
