Marilyn Ingmire joined the staff as the Director of Programs and Events in September 2011. Her primary function is to manage the Women’s Network Council, the Edmond Young Professions, the Youth Leadership Edmond program and to coordinate the Chamber’s annual fundraising events.
She has been an Edmond resident for over 29 years and comes from an exciting and diverse career path of family business, the City of Edmond’s liaison to the City Manager, Mayor and City Council, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of two local banks, Director of the Nigh University Center and Executive Director for a large retirement community. Her broad experience gives her a well balanced view in working with volunteers in the business community.
She has been very active in the Edmond Community and has served on many boards and organizations as the Leadership Edmond Board, Social Agency Review Commission, Edmond Fine Arts Board, Edmond Senior Foundation, Edmond Centennial Commission Chair and of course, the Edmond Chamber.
Marilyn resides in Edmond with her husband, Terry, and their two Lhasa Apso daughters, Minnie and Sadie. She loves entertaining, decorating, gardening and most of all, playing with her beautiful granddaughter – Cora.
