Kristen Figart joined the staff of the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce in May 2010 and was promoted to fill the position of Director – Communications in June 2011.
As the Director – Communications, she is responsible for coordinating the chamber’s internal and external communications in addition to providing staff support to several of the chamber’s critical committees. Figart is responsible for the Leadership Edmond and Leadership Edmond Alumni Programs and the Military Affairs Council.
Figart graduated in December 2007 from the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communications with a minor in advertising and started working with the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce as the Information Specialist in May 2010.
Figart’s past experience includes an internship with ValPak where she sold and designed ads. Figart worked at Citizens Bank of Edmond as the Marketing Specialist after graduating from UCO.
Figart was raised in Glenpool, Oklahoma. In her free time, she enjoys working out, shopping, going to concerts and spending time with family and friends.
