Darin Kent is a Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender with Citizens Bank of Edmond. Before joining Citizens and moving to Edmond in 2004, he was with Great Southern Bank in Springfield, Missouri. Darin received both a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree from Missouri State University in Springfield, where he was also a four-year letterman and all-conference selection as a diver. Darin is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, and is currently serving as the Alumni Director for the state of Oklahoma.
In Edmond, Darin has become very involved in the community. In addition to the Chamber of Commerce, he is the President of the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond Board of Directors, is an Executive member of the Edmond Public School Foundation Board of Trustees and previously served the Kickingbird Tennis Advisory Board. He is also a Leadership Edmond class XXI graduate, active with the Oklahoma Bankers Association and is a member of the Edmond Rotary Club.
Darin was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and enjoys all aspects of athletics and competition. Before starting his career in banking, he had a sports interview show in Springfield and had the pleasure of interviewing Hall of Fame and all-time baseball great Hank Aaron.
He married his wife Tyler in May 2004, and they have a daughter and a son.
