EDMOND CHAMBER TO HOST STATE REPRESENTATIVE AND SENATE CANDIDATES FORUMS

– The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce will host Candidate Forums for selected House and Senate Races. The Representative Candidate Forum will take place on Friday, June 8, 2012. The Senate Candidate Forum will take place on Friday, June 15, 2012. Both Candidate forums will be held at Oak Tree Country Club from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. Both Candidate forums are presented by OG&E Energy Corp. Candidates confirmed to date: Marian Cooksey and Bob Dani (District 39); Guy Liebmann (District 82); Clark Jolley and Paul Blair (District 41).
Members will get a sense of how the candidates will govern as they discuss fiscal, quality-of-life and economic development issues.
Candidates running for the Oklahoma District 39 and District 82 seats on the Oklahoma House of Representatives and District 41 seat on the Oklahoma Senate have all been invited to appear at the forum. Besides answering submitted questions, each candidate will have the opportunity to provide opening and closing statements. Edmond Chamber Members and guests will be given an opportunity to meet and mingle with the candidates informally from 8:00 – 8:15 a.m.
