EDMOND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS HOST HABITAT FOR HUMANITY EVENT

EDMOND, OK – Members of the Edmond Young Professionals will help build Legacy Station on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Legacy Station is a community of 13 homes right off of Broadway between Edwards and Thatcher, is being built through a partnership with the City of Edmond, Turning Point Ministries and Habitat for Humanity. This is one of the first Habitat builds in Edmond!
EYP volunteers will get to choose between framing a house and working on the interior of another house. Any EYP volunteers that have a pair of work gloves are asked to bring those as well. Lunch will be provided to volunteers.
Charleston’s – Edmond and Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse – North Edmond are providing t-shirts to EYP participants! Those interested in volunteering should contact Amanda Bowen at 341.2808 or abowen@edmondchamber.com.
Edmond Young Professionals (EYP) focuses on three areas: networking, education and community service. EYP hosts regular events which include networking opportunities, quarterly educational workshops and community service projects.
