June Women’s Network Breakfast is All About Helping Women

EDMOND, OK – The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Women’s Network Breakfast will be from 7:30 – 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at River Oaks Golf Club. The breakfast will feature Susan Walton with Suited for Success. Walton’s topic will be “Women Helping Women.”
The program will focus on how the organization was started and will feature several ladies who have been helped by Suited for Success.
Suited for Success helps low income women achieve self sufficiency by providing them with a suit/outfit for job interviews to get back on their feet. If you are interested in making a difference, please bring clean interview-appropriate clothing, slightly worn shoes, jewelry or new hosiery. Bring your suits to this month’s Women’s Network Breakfast. Suited for Success needs small sizes (0-4) and larger sizes (12+).
The breakfast is presented by OU Medical Center Edmond and the gold host sponsor is FAA Credit Union and silver sponsor Francis Tuttle Technology Center.
The breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. which includes a networking activity. The formal program will start at 8 a.m.
The Women’s Network Breakfasts take place on the fourth Thursday of every month. It is a great opportunity to meet business women. This event features programs and speakers specifically tailored to women in business. These breakfasts are a fun and beneficial networking activity open to Chamber members and their guests.
Reservations are required and can be made online at www.edmondchamber.com. The cost is $13 for members and $15.50 non-members. The cost is $21 at the door.
